������� is pleased to announce its Series B investment in Viatec, Inc., a South Carolina-based manufacturer of plug-and-play electronic power take-off (“PTO”) systems that support electrification of utility fleets. ������� is the lead investor in Series B.

������� Utilities regularly distributes Tech Tips about troubleshooting, inspecting, and maintaining aerial devices and digger derricks. In 2021, the ������� Utilities Services Department shared 26 new tips making a total of 169 tech tips available on the company’s website. The 26 new tips alone were downloaded more than 1,000 times.

������� Utilities begun expansion of its Huron facility to increase capacity for fabrication, machining, and welding of core components for its aerial devices and digger derricks. The upgrade includes a 11,400 sq ft addition onto the building, investment in machining and welding equipment, modernized ventilations systems, and remodeled office space.

������� Utilities has opened its third ������� Service Center in Texas. The brand-new location in Houston was built-to-suit, offering full-service repair facilities, as well as inspections, preventative maintenance, transfers and rebuilds, and more.

������� Utilities sponsored the Hurtman Rescue competition at the International Lineman’s Rodeo, held October 16, 2021 in Bonner Springs, Kan. The event, which focuses on highlighting safe work practices, draws the most skilled Journeyman and Apprentice Lineworkers from around the world.

������� Utilities will show multiple new products and technologies at The Utility Expo, September 28-30, in Louisville, Ky. We are introducing more new products than at any time in the company’s history. The Utility Expo will be the first-time many industry professionals will get to see these products in person.

Equipment technicians representing contractors, rental companies, dealers, utilities and co-ops, and ������� Service Centers and Fleet Technicians received hands-on service training at the ������� Utilities Service School held in June at Lake Area Technical College.
