ADVANCE® FD4000 front discharge mixer truck incorporates front and rear tandem drive axles with disc brakes for improved braking performance and lower long-term operating costs. Improved wheel cut on the front axle reduces turning radius.
The FD4000 mixer truck's lighter weight rear tandem axle design allows customers to efficiently run either super single or dual tires, increasing its flexibility to be used in multiple markets. This truck is also powered by the Cummins ISX 12, 385-hp (287-kW) diesel engine delivering 1,450 ft-lb (1,965 nm) torque.
